Invest Victoria

Invest Victoria is the Victorian Government's lead agency for attracting and facilitating investment into the State of Victoria.  Our aim is to promote Victoria as an international investment location, to encourage investment in Victoria and to facilitate international investment.

Invest Victoria's services are focused on policies and practical support of Victorian businesses to help them foster innovation, and build international competitiveness and best practice.  Our goals include:

• Recruiting and facilitating investment projects, and supporting growth and excellence in Victoria's manufacturing and trade exposed service industries.
  
  
• Attracting investment and facilitating export growth through active presence in International markets.
  
  
• Assisting economic development in rural and regional Victoria.
  
  
• Supporting investment growth and international competitiveness in the Communications and Information Technology sectors.
  
  
• Building on Victoria's world class science and research infrastructure, continues to develop the skill base and fostering a culture of innovation amongst science and technology leaders.
